According to some reports that have been circulating this morning, Konami is working on a pair of Silent Hill games for the PlayStation 5. The reports state that a Silent Hill reboot has been in the works for over a year now and is being developed by the team behind Siren at Japan Studio. The rumor also states that Silent Hills is back in the hands of Kojima Productions and will be published by Sony. If true this could be the reason why Hideo Kojima tweeted about watching horror movies to prepare for making a horror game just after Death Stranding was released.
If there is truth to any part of this, it would go along way to repairing Konami‘s image with the gaming public after we all broke up with them over the situation between the company and Hideo Kojima during the launch of Metal Gear Solid V. Hopefully we will get some confirmation on this soon.
