It is no secret that Bethesda completely dropped the ball with Fallout 76. In a disturbing trend that has plagued gaming in recent years, they shipped an untested, unfinished game to players (for full price no less) and then finished the game through a series of updates and expansions. Well it seems that the developer feels that the game is now complete because they have now announced a premium service for the game called Fallout 1st. May God have mercy on our souls.
Fallout 1st offers players who subscribe a series of benefits as outlined in the snazzy info-graphic below.
These benefits will cost you $12.99 a month or $99.99 per year. The timing of this service seems odd given the fact that the game is still suffering from issues even though several fixes have already been implemented. Whats worse is that the anticipated NPC update has been delayed until 2020. It may be in the best interest of the fanbase to get Fallout 76 to a more complete state before offering even more paid services to consumers. Just a thought.
