Silent Hill Trademark Renewed by Konami

According to several published reports, Konami filed to renew its trademark for Silent Hill on July 26. The current trademark was scheduled to expire at the end of the year so this could just be Konami holding on to the trademark.

There has not been a true (or good) Silent Hill game in years and after Konami cancelled Hideo Kojima’s Silent Hills, hope for another good entry seems to have died. Hopefully the company has a good team with a new game in the works but considering all we are seeing from Konami at the moment it will probably be a mobile game or DLC for PES.
