Just in time for the 35th birthday of the first Ghostbusters film, Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered will be released on the PS4 on October 4, 2019. The game is a remastered release of the remarkable game that at the time served as a third film of sorts. The story was written by Dan Aykroyd and the late Harold Ramis who also star in the first two movies. 

With the actual Ghostbusters 3 movie now slated for release in 2020, it will be interesting to see if any story points from this game will now be canon in the film.
