A lot was shown off last night at Bethesda’s E3 2019 Showcase but much of it came in the form of games that have already been announced. When the Tango Gameworks logo appeared on the big screen I was expecting that The Evil Within/Psycho Break 3 was about to be announced. I was actually very comfortable with that idea. What we got instead has been my favorite announcement of E3 2019 so far. Ghostwire: Tokyo. The legendary founder of Tango Gameworks Shinji Mikami took the stage first to announce the new game and then the game’s creative director Ikumi Nakamura took over and captivated the audience with her awesome stage presence.
About Ghostwire: Tokyo
“After strange disappearances hit Tokyo’s population, it’s up to you to uncover the source and purge the city of a strange, new evil. Armed with your own mysterious abilities, you will face down the occult, unravel conspiracy theories and experience urban legends like never before. Don’t fear the unknown. Attack it.”
More information regarding the game are coming in the future according to the studio. Check out the E3 trailer below. If the visuals shown in the trailer are any sort of indication as to what the quality of the game will be, then I am extremely excited to see more.
