Capcom has revealed this morning that the will be releasing a definitive version of
Resident Evil 7 later this year. Titled the “Gold Edition“, it will include all previously released DLC plus an all new DLC chapter called End of Zoe. The long delayed free DLC chapter titled “Not a Hero” will also be available when the Gold Edition launches on December 12, 2017.

“Not a Hero” features the return of series veteran Chris Redfield as he tackles all new horrors that were not seen in the main game and will be free to all Resident Evil 7 owners.

In “End of Zoe” we discover what actually happens to Zoe Baker. This chapter will feature all new swamp areas as well as new enemies. Season Pass owners will get this chapter as a free update or it can be purchased by standard edition owners for $14.99.
“Not a Hero” and “End of Zoe” are both compatible with the PlayStation VR.
